Proceed through the villages of Cann and Compton Abbas.  Shortly after passing the 17th Century Tea Rooms on your left, take the narrow right turn signposted to Twyford (ignore an earlier right turn to Twyford). Continue along this lane for approximately 3/4 of a mile, passing houses on your left and right until you see a wide entrance on the left with two gates, one leading into a field and the other at the beginning of the track leading to Croft Farm. Out in the lane, there is a stone set into the bank with 'Croft Farm', it is not that obvious.  Turn into the driveway and continue for approximately 1/2 mile until you reach the farm.
