Welcome to Croft Farm

Croft Farm B&B provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation in a quiet and beautiful setting on our 60 acre farm, which is situated in the heart of Dorset's Blackmore Vale between Shaftesbury and Blandford Forum.

Both guest rooms in our new outbuilding are spacious and well-appointed with unrivalled views over our land to Penn, Hambledon and Bulbarrow Hills. It is a quintessentially English landscape. The old part of the farmhouse is Victorian, built originally as a keepers’ cottage.

The farm is crossed by several footpaths which provide lovely walks, including access to Fontmell Down with its spectacular flora and butterflies. We are happy for our guests to enjoy our recently-planted woodland and pond.

The Blackmore Vale

The Blackmore Vale is an area of outstanding natural beauty located in North Dorset and nestled between Shaftesbury to the North, Blandford to the South and Cranborne Chase to the East. The Vale and neighbouring Cranborne Chase are major attractions for both artists and walkers and offer some of the most glorious countryside views in Southern England.

Located just 4 miles North of Croft Farm, Shaftesbury boasts an ancient, winding high street adjoining the world famous Gold Hill (home of the Hovis advert) and a good range of shops and amenities. To the South, Blandford Forum is one of the best examples of a Georgian Market town in England and retains much of it's original character.
